Peer Learning Meeting on Business and Human Rights
The upcoming Business and Human Rights peer learning meeting of the European Global Compact Networks seeks to facilitate an exchange between the Global Compact Networks’ members and representatives of the European parliament. In a nutshell, the session will be structured aroundthe following guiding questions:
- Why is there such a gap between the European Parliament resolution and the proposed directive?
- Why does the proposed directive not sufficiently consider the “access to remedy” pillar of the UNGPs?
- What place for stakeholders in this duty of care?
The meeting will include presentations by external speakers and interactive group work. It will be facilitated by the Global Compact Network France.
